Since our offices are moving to the Empire Plaza soon, I was looking into rates for the YMCA branch there (I’m better about working out if a gym is convenient and this is within walking distance of my office).  This is what I learned: the cost of the Empire Plaza branch is cheaper, at $35* for an individual rate. I was thinking about something this evening. Sojourner Truth’s poem, “Ain’t I a woman?” was taught to me in school as if it were written in the vernacular of the slaves, which was an edited version.
