Adventures in Babysitting...
Let’s see how many pop culture references we can fit into this entry… I don’t have kids of my own, so I like to play “Auntie Mame” to my friends’ kids. I joke that it’s great birth control. So when my friend said he wanted to have a romantic Valentine’s weekend with his fiancée and would I mind watching his daughter I said, “Of course!”....
The Stupid Factor
Dear CDTA:
Every year we get snow. You know this. This is why there is no excuse for for the 8:13 bus to show up at 8:50, long after my toes and my patience have frozen solid. Ten minutes? Fine. But you need to come up with a plan to provide more efficient customer service.
Let’s call it the Stupid Factor. Based on the amount of snowfall and type of precipitation (snow, sleet, slush, etc)...
